Two of the same?
What is the point of having two very similar guns, even if they are different calibers?
I really like the Edgun Leshiy but the Price is very very high. If I up my Money a bit I can get a Edgun Matador R3M .25 Short like the One Keyser reviewed. The problem is I already have a bullpup. The only difference between the Eddy and my Cricket apart from .22 vs .25 is Bolt action vs side lever and design. So why bother?
What I’m saying is a gun would have to be different from the One I have for Me to justify spending so much Money. But the Leshiy is hard to justify costing the same as my Cricket Compact .22 did, with extra barrel it cost more.
You guys with similar guns, how did you justify it?

I have the same dilemma as u REARSPROCKET.
I need to buy the Mutant standard also ……. and see for myself if it justifies owning the Cricket standard too ?
I do think sometimes that us Airgunners move to fast into the future faster than they cane invent a new gun for us to shoot.
Keep the better IMO like we all would do and sell or give the other to a friend …… or …. best of friend that is.

:rofl: Ginuwine a couple of days ago my Matador R3M develop a leak at the fill valve port O-ring.
Couple of days ago I found the gun empty zero on it’s gauge, so I cocked it and give it a shot and it did ……. so I knew that the reg O-rings was holding its pressure okay (pre-charge chamber holding pressure wail AT at zero pressure).
So I blast filled it up to try and dislodge any dust or debris from the fill valve O-ring.
When I top filled to 190 bar and left it over night it leaked down to 155 bar and stopped.
Now that it fills to 190 bar, it’s holding its pressure okay again now.
But, I take it as just plan old maintenances on my/owners part ……. no biggie to post or mention until now. :winkn:
I may need to just clean/change out/retention to 1/2 – 3/4 turn after contact and lube the fill port valve O-ring.

I waited till I felt that all the bug(s) where out of the R3M before buying one about a year and a half ago.
All the BP I own weren’t nail drivers/problem free, in the beginning/out of box as they’re today or I would have let it go.
Some required hard work/tweaking and some just needed to get fired more often …….. :whistle:

GKU, some of you guys on here have mad skills when it comes to airguns. The things you know and share is incredible, also the tools and ability to do some of those thing also is a blessing. Most of us are just run of the mill guys will a little bit of knowledge and just enough tools to be dangerous :rofl: . I’ve got no doubt that your guns are finely tuned.

The good news is here in the U.S. we have a nice pick of bullpup to choose from, at last.
Just 5-6 short years ago we had no bullpups to buy at all none.
We had do our bullpups conversions, if we wanted a bullpup.
I remember seeing the first Edgun, that got smuggled in the U.S.
A guy on the yellow form was selling it for over $3000.00 
I have the same three B/Ps Mike has, and I’ve been trying to justify a Mutant standard purchase without luck. My Cricket 22 WST standard is a laser, so I haven’t made the purchase. The only ups I can see are the trigger and shroud.
GKU im glad you had a great experience with the R3m but you off all people should know no 2 guns are created or set up exactly th same there fore if i where to by one today it may or may not be a laser. The same goes with all airguns, some people will just be trouble free and others will have there issues. I would never own two of the same guns because i believe variety is the spice of life :whistle:
Yes, the R3M standard is the longest BP in my collection and has the lengthiest LOP also ……. it shoots like a lazar and holds zero like no other with no POI changes/shifting ……. built/sturdy/solid as a tank.

It looks big and heavy but I like the Idea of a small backpacker for poaching (Leshiy), a medium gun for general shooting (Cricket Compact), and a bigger .25 for long range fun (Matador r4)

Speaking from personal experience, if you enjoy shooting your Cricket Compact you may not like the added length of a R3M Standard unless you’re shooting strictly from a bench. It’s only a few inches longer but it feels like a much larger gun once shouldered. Some are used to a 28-30″ bullpup and may not feel any difference but having owned a Cricket Compact/Mutant Short/R3M Standard moving between guns there’s a noticeable size difference. If you decide on a R3M Short, that would be the best compromise but it’s still 26.7″ so it’s not as short as a Cricket or Mutant. Unless there’s a R4 Short in the making, it will be a similar length as an R3M Standard.

Cool, I have been watching a lot of youtube videos fom Ed’s Channel lately. It has gotten me very interested indeed. But seeing as how the price difference from the little Leshiy is not that far from a fully fledged Matador short I was thinking how much more gun you get if you up your money.

Have been there and there is no rational justification 😀
Only if you have too much money to spend on your hobby like I did for a while but you certainly will regret afterwards (at least I did).
The only certitude is that at the end of the game you will have spent money on your hobby, how much and how much sense it made depends only on you.
Today I can easily test shoot a gun and not buying it, years back I was addicted :rofl:
Today I consider “lesser is better”, you have more respect and a better “intimate relationship” when having only few guns.
Now I have only two airguns, a pcp and a springer and I’m happy.

I have two Crickets one is a 22 and one is a 25 , I set them up identical , same scopes same trigger , Everything the same, I like the gun.
My rule is to have two PCP guns, and yes I broke the rule, I have a 22 Mutant, I try my best to rotate guns each week,
I really like my Crickets they are a little heavy since I got the Mutant, But if I had to go back to my two gun rule and had to sell one ,
I would just say fuck the rule I am not selling one,
So back to the question, I really like picking up my 22 cricket or my 25 cricket no adjustments feel the same just shoot….
I just like what I like .
