Q:

Taipan strikes again…..

Found this fat ground hog, by some rail road tracks.
He was about 55 yards out, had to act fast. Since they are very weary of any movement and will bolt fast for their dens.

I aim for a neck shot close too the head, gently pulled on the shorty trigger.
And I hear the smackkkk of the 16 gr jsb pellet finding its target.
As fast, as he gets hit, he’s on his back, legs kicking.
Then he’s out cold, time for a dirt nap!
I pick the ground hog up man he is fat & heavy, I’m guessing 20-25 lbs.
I’m using the Listone barrel from Jaime.
I have a cz barrel, but the Listone barrel shoots so good. :biggrinn:

Second pic is not, clear my camera, got fogged over. But you can see how fat he is. :biggrinn:

2 early morning neckbreakers w/ JSB 14.3g @ 890 fps @ 25 ft #’s.

The less bird crap on my car the better.

Nice shot. I nailed one ground hog so far this year.

Shhhhhh…..

you must vewy vewy quite, when hunting wabbits!

Fresh from the yard…Lil bunny foofoo never made it home…Simply Dead Accurate…

That’s some fine shooting Tex :suprisedn:

Nothing like punching holes, in little doggies!

Foxback,

This lil pup is a fun awsome, awsome lil shooter, she sits in my front passenger side seat more than my wife does in my truck everyday…haha…that says a lot…haha. She’s my go to gun whenever shooting from my truck & whenever I don’t need my .25 cal. The more I shoot critters, the more I see critters “mutated” in some sort of way here in Texas. It just tells me how our world is changing in so many ways.

Dman & you have some hefty ass dog size ground hogs I see…suckers are huge. I wish I had some fat suckers like them to blast at here in Dallas…

I do have these guys roaming around all over the place to shoot at though. Mr. bigo dillo was walking too fast when shot by my .25 Vulcan at 45 meters/49 yards (I was aiming at his head) Mr. Fox was taken by the Shorty at 47 meters/51yards. Sorry, no pictures w/ the Shorty/Vulcan, we have some huge ass M&M (w/peanuts) size misquiteos w/ armor here at night always waiting to put a hurting on you whenever anyone steps outside.

Good shooting…….
You got some craze ass critters in Texas.

First the squirrel with buck teeth,

And that craze crow.
Never seen any thing like it lol!

Good work, looks like your having fun with the shorty also! :4:

Peps shouldnt be scared shooting this lil gun past 45 meters/50 yards…just got done ranging my Shorty out to 130 meters…50 yard shots are dead easy. Shooting JSB 18.1g @ 810 fps @ ~25 ft #’s.

This crazy colored crow was 85 meters/92 yards out (so far my farthest kill w/ this lil gun)…

I can’t see how Keyser Soze can shoot paintballs at 160 plus yards w/ this 12″ barrel…incredible!…

Thx Hoot :8:

MichaƂ the guy from Poland, I had him make me a custom stock.
He did use a hand oiled finish on the stock.
He does great work.

Hoot if you liked the Lelya, you would love this gun.
The Taipan shorty.

:hoot:

Who did the mods on the stock? I really like the new cutout at the back. Was it difficult? Obviously you had to strip the finish, did you use hand rubbed oil when you were done? If so, what brand/color?

Thanks for the info. Gun is a beautiful piece of equipment.

Hoot:

That’s some good shooting Jaime. :8:

The shorty can hang with the big dogs.
I like when they flop around too!

Your shorty isn’t the Only one that has been busy…..

These little fuckers been eating my crops.
