Mutant Standard Shroud
Anyone know the length and outside diameter of the standard shroud? Also is it 1/2-20 female thread? Thanks

I can’t say what the length is, but I can tell you an adapter will be needed to attach a 1/2 X 20 thread ldc.

Actually you can just remove the shroud and the barrel IS threaded 1/2 x20. I took my shroud off and put a Neil C on it I had laying around to try.
The sound was really close with the 8″ Clague as compared to the stock shroud (to my ears).
and the stock shroud is 10 1/8″ x 1 3/16″OD.
Thanks Hoot. I’m buying one without the shroud and I’m going to make my own. I was just trying to get a jump on it before it gets here.

And one further, an LDC shorter than 6″ is unlikely to give you the results you want, unless you live a good distance from the next house. Once you crank these up in fps, they can begin to get “Neighborhood Unfriendly”.

Just fine, I haven’t shot anything with it yet though. I just use it to check things out at night when I hear something not right. It works great though.
