Q:

Late to the Party…

First post so go easy. My Taipan Black Shorty was delivered last week. And really not much to add at this point. Right out of the box first 12 shots averaged 823 with JSB 15.89s. This gun is as good as everyone says it is.Now as a collector of sorts what could I get in .22 that could possibly cause me to put this away for something else. Kind of screwed myself there. :biggrinn:

Personally, I’d recommend checking out Talon Tunes Tony’s picture of the new Vulcan bullpups!

They are well made, short, balanced, powerful, accurate, and have a mid-stock cocking handle just above the trigger area.

If you get a level I suggest the Vortex Lo Pro because it is not bulky and ugly, it is discrete.

Welcome Rick,

If you like to shoot a tad bit more accurate at longer distances, I’d recommend for you to invest in a nice little bubble level if you don’t have 1 already…

It’s very nice when you can line up a shot & shoot a grackle at 92 yards w/ a 12″ Shorty barrel…

Let us know what velocity & pellet works best for your shorty…thanks…

Mutant has a 25 coming out, You may not put the 22 shorty Mutant away, But they will look real pretty side by side.

Welcome too the Taipan party.

I’ve got the same scope on my shorty as well.
I think it works well for the gun.

Enjoy your shorty, I know I do. :8:
