My new shorty
Made it home today at 7pm, had a Simmons 44mag 6x21x44 mil-dot ringed an ready. Just enough day light so it’s dressed ready to kill. Sorry for the lousy pix was late.

The standard is only a tad quieter than the short? I would imagine if shooting the same speeds on both, the standard would be much quieter. Does anyone know how many baffles are in the standard vs short?
Btw, nice collection you got going there but aren’t your rings a tad on the high side? What ranges do you shoot at and have you had any negative effects mounting the scope that far from the barrel?

I’m tempted to “vent” that ldc on the end, there’s quite a large expansion chamber prior to the baffles. Not certain if it’s worth the trouble because it’s dang near silent now.
I’m tuned to about 750 fps with 18.1 JSB’s which is plenty of power for under 50 meter shooting of pests, gives a good shot count, and is barely audible. Interesting to have a bullpup with so few issues that you don’t really need to mod or upgrade anything!
If the .25’s are this good…dang, I can’t afford to own two pcp’s at once. I can only shoot one at a time anyway.

I don’t shoot past 20 yd, most shots around 45’/50′. I got a pretty long neck so I use fairly tall rings. Nope not noticed any negative effect. I do have some shorter rings coming for the shorty some high mounts. My standard has warne qd ultra high they seem to work fine. Probably should have just got highs for it.
