Wow, that’s some pretty awesome hardware! I’m barely into the pool and you are waaaaay out in the deep end! Congratulations on your setups, looks like a lot of time and money. Can’t take it with you, have fun while you are here 🙂

Good luck on your endeavors……I have been shooting Powder for 67 years….and competing and kind of tired/bored of it all…..Read on this forum about toufazfou and his Condor .257 hitting cans at 445 yds……Got one from R&L airgun supply………After several months I conjured the idea of building a better one with my gunsmith and go for the maximum I could for accuracy and distance with a cast lead .257…….

Yes the STUFF in the pictures is the best and does cost $$$$$, but at the top of any endeavor, it always comes down to that. Or that old saying, “How Fast do you want to go” :winkn:

Your question to me meant that you wanted a few goodies to help your Condor. I ONLY added the cost factor, not to brag but to show just was involved to get a gun to do what it can and was a 2 off custom builds…The parts are ALL available, but the machining, frame strengthening, and stock work are all GUNSMITH LABOR…..Gunsmith has built all of my 1000 yard competition rifles…

I am NOT at the forefront of my next endeavor, as others are working in the area to advance and I am going to do the same with a TEXAN SOON….. As soon as the High Pressure Valve is ready….Is being tested and modified and for sale soon/weeks.

Yes, you can’t take it with you and am in the position that I earn more retired than when I worked and now spend on what pleases me at the moment…….. 😉

Thanks for comments………….Carl

Could you list your “Hot Rod” parts? or explain some the sorcery behind that shooting? I’m boggled by my stock Condor SS power right now, but wouldn’t mind a “Shopping List” to look at 🙂

Look at the HAMMERING the 200 yd EBR target below this thread……..Using 85 gr Spitzer I cleaned target, all 10’s or X’s..Some persons are offended by my past statements I have said on GTA forum, that for me and my equipment, 200 yds is easy and even 300 yds is….Shooting the STEEL RAM on Silhouette 500 meter/548 yds is mostly all hits, depending how hard crosswind is. I haven’t shot the RAM with these new guns pictured this year. I did a year ago with crap barrel then. These would nail it almost every time? Then just a matter of GAUGING wind correctly.

The gun is CUSTOM BUILT……Only thing STOCK is Airforce Condor Frame I bought stripped as didn’t need other crap…..It did come with trigger group and breech……I sourced all and it was built with my gunsmith who builds my 1000 yd F-Class Rifles for POWDER..Power is with a Doug Noble Valve.I also have Doug’s 120 gram and 125 gram hammers. 9.4* Spring. Barrel is 34″‘s and made by one of the finest Powder Rifle 1000 yd makers, and takes about 8 months to get after ordering. 1:14 twist rate….I don’t use barrel bushings, the dimples are milled into barrel for set screws, and barrel barely slides into the frame and is 1.100″ dia, and eliminates movement there. Chinese CF tank with 4350 psi and use but 2900 psi -3700 psi for bullets from 72 gr to 92 gr. at fps going from 1060-1010 fps for those weights. Always regulated off bench.Madddog benchrest stock. SEB NEO JOYSTICK front rest I use in F-Class 1000 yd matches. I use a portable table for the distances I want to shoot LONG DISTANCE to a specially raked dirt impact area for seeing DIRT/DUST for elevation corrections. Have a COLD SHOT 300 moa scope mount rail for WAY OUT THERE……8 X 32 HAWKE SCOPE. Frame is BEEFED up with a rail and all bedded into the stock per powder rifle protocall…….It isn’t a hobbyist gun…..With gunsmith stock and barrel machining work as it sits, JUST THE GUN is over $3,000 . Mostly my ideas plus several suggestions of GUNSMITH and made it happen……..A ground up SPECIAL BUILD to do exactly what it does.It can and does shoot over 1000 yds……..It weighs as picture, 22 lbs.

Just put the $$$$ amount in there to let people know that a STOCK Condor with a few mods won’t do what this does, but is what a fine 1000 yd rifle costs and more…..Thanks for asking.

Click this link and see LONG RANGE VIDEOS that I have shot……..Have MORE to post and process soon. VIDEO https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLiuDTa_dWi_G0gAnRAlByuEBFfQ-B44CY
