Talon Tunes Quick Change Top Hat
I am thinking of getting a quick change top hat from talon tunes for my condor. Will it work well with a .257 barrel ? Will it make a big difference and still be quiet with the heavy stuff as a factory .25 SS also? I am not looking for 100000 foot lbs or 100000 yards from it but would like to know how it is with say around a 60 grain bullet. I will mostly shoot pellets but would like to shoot some heavy stuff sometimes. Thanks :5:

It seems to give more power. The H&N pellets that would just dent my steel plate are now cracking it at 33 yards. I am happy with it.
Not much with the 31 + grain but with the 25 grain you could tell it was louder. Mine is a .25 and I am running it wide open.
How much louder did it make the gun???
Well it came today :8: Shot a few pellets it seems to be good with the 31 grain but the 25 grain pellets I think are going way too fast. That is fine I want to shoot 31 + anyway.
Well all I have now is a stock .25 condor SS but I would like to shoot heavy pellet/bullets in the upper 900’s.
I have 2 and love the ability to bump the power down or up in a few seconds. But mine are on 22 cal condor and talon. It should work the same for a 257. Put it across a chrony and post the results please.b

He is putting it at 30-60 fps more with nothing in it.
How does the velocity compare to a standard top hat when used without a restrictor?
The biggest restrictor still has less velocity than the standard top hat
So is the middle insert like having a factory top hat? With the smaller one like a talon and with none more power? Thanks

That’s correct. I am running a .25 with 31.2 grain pellets.
