Q:

Some lelya love….

I haven’t posted much about this little beauty. I have to say she is a sweet little gun. I grab the Lelya over the mutant 100% of the time now. The mutant is awesome, don’t get me wrong, it just doesn’t pack as light and compact. Lelya will hit a 2″ spinner at 90 yards everytime if you do your part(so will the mutant).
So here is a group. I normally don’t shoot groups with lelya. I took a few shots to get nice and comfy, then almost 1 holed the rest. This is at 60 yards.

This gun is very capable. Every time I pull the trigger it seems like something dies….. :5:

Good to know you fixed it. but I don’t know it’s accurate without two orings. It’s just unbelievable. I like Lelya a lot.

Thanks for letting us know! Glad it was a simple fix!

Hello Guys,

Thanks all for your answers, I finally find the problem of the blow-back.
I opened the system and find no orings on the bolt..
I put two orings + grease of silicon and play a little with the screw and voila…
everything is ok.

The thing is that you look at this like being a problem where probably you should look at it like being an improvement, a feature.

By the breech popping open you are half way to semi-automatic

(Sorry man, could not resist but I understand your pain and high dollar frustration. I’ve owned a first generation Lelya and Veles and know what you are speaking about)

My technique for adjusting the breech blowback screw is to first unscrew the screw and add some blue loctite to it. Next screw the screw all of the way in until the screw pushes open the breech. Next unscrew the screw 1/4 turn at a time until the blowback is gone. If your gun has blowback no matter the position of the screw then something else must be wrong with the gun. Are you the original owner of the gun? Let us know what you find.

Hi Romeo,

I do the same of your technique, but I don’t put the loctite because I don’t find the good position for no blowback.
Yes it is a second hand, but the guy who have it before have the same problem before.
But I continu to work on it because the gun is very accurate and I like a lot to shot with the Lelya.
I take you informed if I find a solution.
Thanks for your help.

Piter,

Thank you for your answer.
I tried to open it and find a solution.
If someone have an idea…
Thanks all.

I have absolutely no problem with blow-back with the new design (.22) but in the previous design (.177) I had a blow-back. It was not a problem for accuracy but of course I really like the new design with blow-back compensation screw. It should work, strange if it doesn’t.

Hi Parrots,

Thank you for answer.

Another idea ? Piter, Wingman, Keyser, RomeoAlfa ? (cal.22)

The speed is reduce to 200 m / S , I tried the screw in every position but the blow back is present at every shots

The positiv thing the gun is very accurate at 80 – 100 meters

Thanks

I do get some cycling issues with my multishot, but should be an easy fix when I have some time.

Need Feedback with multi shot breech : http://www.talonairgun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=34104

I see the video : (of Ernest) .177
1. Edgun Lelya sliding breech blow back adjustment

I try the screw at the back like Ernest but with a cal .22, and it’s not work better.

Have you better Idea ?

The multi shot breech could be a good Solution, but the guy make them only for left hand. (I ask him for right hand but he make them for only left hand)

Those who use the multi shot breech are happy with it ?

Thanks
