Q:

Replacement gauge

Has anyone replaced their factory gauge with a different one. It wouldn’t have to be glow in the dark either. I’m pretty sure it’s a BSP thread on the back. I’ve seen a quick glimpse of Edgun’s gauges and the increments are spread out like I like but the OD of the gauge looks bigger than the Vulcans.

It’s almost identical to the one Airbrained is holding. Mine appears to have a little more wrap around distance. It could just be the way AB’s photo came out to.

Could you take a pic please

I received my gauge yesterday and got it installed today. Much better!

Great pictures Airbrained, Yea, I saw that bigger gauge on Edgun’s site. The newer AGT isn’t as big but it’s definitely an improvement over the original. Thanks for taking the time to post the difference.

Here’s a comparison between the newer AGT Vulcan gauge and my new matador short gauge. Evgeny sent me this upgraded gauge and hammer spring plus screws for free when I requested upgraded parts for my Gen 2 Vulcan bullpup. The EDgun gauge is definitely bigger.

FYI, Just sent a note to Evengy inquiring about a replacement. He replied back in about 10minutes and needed an address to send one to. That’s service with a smile. :biggrinn: :biggrinn: :biggrinn:

Their after sales is the best in my opinion.

Isn’t there a new gauge after the glow in the dark one? If so you can contact Evgeny and buy a original from him, if I remember correctly it looks better and is easier to read

Yes, the new guage is much better

Does anyone have a good photo of the later version gauges? It would be appreciated.

That’s exactly what I’d like, I think it’s the correct thread if a G1/8 B is the BSP thread. The OD would probably work but the height or length is too long. It would stick out the end of the dust cover too far.
