Daystate Regal XL
Wife bought this for me as a Christmas gift and I took a peak when she wasm’t looking.
I bought the Daystate Regal XL and just before it arrived my wife decided she was paying for it and it would be my Christmas present. I was ordered not to look at it until Christmas day. Yes dear, I will not touch the gun. I didn’t.
This is the most beautiful gun that I have ever owned and I can’t touch it. The guys at AOA were the best I have ever dealt with. Daren will be my go to when buying from them again. I still have extra magazines and maybe a new scope to add to this ‘Christmas gift’. I love beautiful wood on any rifle, but this is beyond belief. I guess you get lucky at least once in your life.

Wife gave it to me early, so I could shoot before rains came. I mounted BKL rings and a Hawke Airmax 4-12X50 on it. I set a target at fourty yards and shot 5 five shot groups that ave .259. I believe it will do better when I adjust trigger down a little. I shot JSB 15.9 and will try 18.13 after Christmas. The rains got here faster than we thought. I set up a homemade bench I made out of scap lumber I had lawing around. I will take it to my big bench later next week. Its more stable. These are very accurate rifles. The bolt is a little stiff but after 30 shots it is starting to get easier. I love the weight of the rifle. Its seems like a feather compared to my Air Arms TX200.

Thanks, knifemaker. It is the most beautiful rifle I have ever owned. My Cooper Jackson squirrel rifle used to be the best looker, but it has been replaced.

This is one of my targets that I shot at 35 yards. The one on bottom right was a sighter to get on target. The other four were groups of five shots.
