NV Monocular on scope?

been there done that with a gen2 monocular mounted with a plumming fitting…..the scope your mounting to matters quite a bit….i thought my nikko sterling nighteater was pretty good scope with it 56mm objective and 30mm tube….but the picture in the nv wasnt quite what i hoped for. so i tried it behind a bushnell legend 5-15×42 and it was way better….best was bushnell 4200 6-24×40 so much more light came into the NV !

now i am in california and all that is illegal on a rifle..and i sold my gen2 ..but i sure am curious how it would look sitting behind the vortex razor !

you could go way cheap and just use a sony camcorder with night mode….and add a 10$ china 3w IR led flashlight…..

You only needed ir if you wanted to see eyes shine !!
My z6i is the gen 2 with hd glass,the lingest shot on a fox was just over 400m ..dont believe all the crap ab rear add ons not working with high quLitu glass
