What is your preferred thread sealant?
I have two of Tony’s gauges to install and replace the leaking stock units. I have teflon tape on hand but it seemed to be stripping off when I threaded the first one in. Since I am going to hand pump those dudes back up to 3000 psi I want to be “one and done” when I screw in the new gauge.
These have all come up in searches:
Loctite 545
Permatex 56521
Loxeal 55-14
Searching for thread sealant on Amazon brings more search results than I can digest! What is your favorite?

I put 1000 PSI in it. No bubbles. Let it sit for a few hours and so far so good! I’ll incorporate another session with the floor pump into my exercise routine tomorrow.
