Is this the rubberized finish?

Are you guys happy with the black stocks? I have a gen 1 in .177, been thinking of getting one, also mine doesnt have threaded mod! How can i get one of those, it does have the ping noise still!!!! Uhg 😐

New shipment of stock are due in later this week.
Order now so you don’t miss out.

…and thanks to Ernest, it shoots as good as it looks too!

Salt,

Your V looks awesome.

I used a standard Magpul 3″ accessory rail on mine. The little flat nuts that come with it will slide right into the slot. All you have to do is cut about a 1/4″ off the length of the screws that come with it… works like a champ.

So it seems like the standard picatinny rail sections will not work with the flat backs with the new intergrated rail system. You need one that’s kind of like a keymod, primarily Anshutz and Freeland type rail.

The slot is built into the stock. You need this to add the rail.

EElect,
Did it come with a integrated accessory rail? Or did you have to do a mod to install the blood?

No it has the rail built in.

Yours has a picatinny/weaver style rail built in?

The stock has a groove type rail. It is called: AFAR (Accuracy International, Freeland, Anschutz Rail)

Got my black stock in from Tony. The inletting is quite snug. Might have been easier if I was patient enough to let the stock warm up from the cold outside before putting in the action. Looks nice and I feel better about a synthetic stock getting knocked about rather than marring the nice wood stock.

Too cold to work in the garage at night, but at least I can redress the Vulcan and work on its night vision indoors.

I think it looks great all black.
