I hear ya Spin…..doubt I’d buy another rear-cocking gun. Colibri is really great when using Night Vision, as you can expend all 14 rounds without taking your eye off the scope. Tried NV with one of my Crickets and the rear lever is a struggle…
It seems the purchase of the Taipan Mutant shorty is going to be placed on hold until this new Colibri is released and tested. :winkn:
Looks like it will be very cool. I hope it has a picatinny rail for a bipod or a place to attach one.

I can assure you (being a Colibri owner) that picture has no real mechanical similarities to the current one so I wouldn’t worry about them calling it a Colibri. It’s certainly not the same Colibri with the semi function hooked back up, totally different. I would imagine it will have a different name anyway.
Incidentally my Mk2 Colibri is the best gun I’ve owned (and I’ve got Vulcan/Cricket and had many others).

Picatinny rail on top is different, almost like an M16 carry handle. Looks like I should start saving up now.
Also, looks like the shroud over the barrell may be square?

Looks like semi surely.. removable cover over the action? Spring/valve up to the cocking mech in the transfer passage (from cylinder) I’m assuming the yellow shaded area is also of significance. And the fact the cocking lever is in the rear position like it maybe gets held back there after cocking and loading to cycle itself after?
calm down people – all i see is a middle section of the gun – where is the rest?

That’s kind of a problem for me, bee; the Colibri is going to make me expend pellets even faster. :|. But still, it would be sweet to have a semi-auto rifle in my collection.
