Q:

casting bullets for airforce rifles

does anyone cast .22 or .25 bullets for the airforce condor? i was hoping to find a .257 barrel for my condor with extreme valve in Canada for sale. I am tempted to get a .225 mold by LEE and .224 sizer to use for my .22 condor but wanted to find out what the exact barrel diameter would be. any tips would be great

I just ordered the 257388 from aresnalmolds.com for a .257 I have coming. :5:

Do you lube your bullets?

Where can I find molds like the one you use? Do you use a Lee sizer after you cast them?

If your looking at using a stock 22 cal barrel go with between .215-.218. my 45 gr slugs i use are .218. i need a sizer to get them down to .217 and .216 especially with the 50 gr wad cutters. They are so long and tight its hard to get them all the way in. A slug in .224 would be way to big for a stock 22 barrel.
