Q:

Leshiy + Hand-pump = NO PROBLEM

I’m happy to report that handpumping the Leshiy is quick and easy. 40 pumps takes it from 100 bar up to 250 bar. 10 more strokes takes it up to 300 bar.

I can refill the gun in about 1 minute with my trusty old Benji pump. I never dreamed of pumping the Vulcan, but the Leshiy has a very small air capacity, so it’s not a big deal.

Thanks for the response and link GKU. Very detailed and informative. I alway appreciate the depth of knowledge on this forum.
The reason I ask is that I’ve sold my Matador and Tigershark tank, however the Leshiy has peaked my interest where I might consider purchasing one and a handpump since filling it should not require much air. But the last thing I’d want to do is ruin a beautiful air gun just to go the cheap route with a hand pump.
The other route I’ve considered is getting a nice portable small guppy tank (118 cu) but that’s $389.
Could someone perhaps suggest a much more affordable small tank than that?

Both ways will depend on the RH in the environment it’s fill in and if a moisture trap is used in the fill equipment.

For the hand pump I’d fill in a air condition room will lower the RH down to about 50%.
Plus a dehumidifier another -20% down to 30% RH.

in addition to the Benj pump this will also help …….

Just curious if this would cause extra condensation to occur inside the Leshiy vs the air being straight from an air tank?

Just 40 pumps is not bad score! That could be nice summer holidays solution 🙂

Nice! No need to wait for the pump to cool down
