Q:

Cricket 25 stock

Where could I find a synthetic stock for my Cricket 25. Wood is nice, however, this will be outdoor plinker and hunter. Don’t want to ding up the wood any more. Bought this used from a shooting buddy that needed some cash.
My first PCP bullpup (probably not my last).

Thank you, that is a good scope!

I use a Bushnell 4200 Elite 6-24×40 with AZ ballistic knob.

quote Johnsairmadness:

Your gonna LOVE the tune he does. Is it the power tune? I got my Cricket .25 power tuned over Christmas and all I gotta say is WOW. This thing is a beast and accurate. I’m shooting tight groups at 75yds that would be normal for 50. And what is amazing its shooting a JSB 34gr @925fps and is still quiet.

What type scope you have on your Cricket?
My 3×9 Bug buster is ok for plinking, thinking of better glass for my new Power Tuned version.

Yes, it is his Power Tune upgrade.
I’m very excited to get it back and try it out. Hopefully back in my hands late next week.
I like tinkering, however, something like this is currently way above my skill level. Have many center and rimfire powder burners, PCP is new to me.
I gave him my Chrono readings shooting the JSB Match 25.39 pellet 812-825 fps and the fact I bought it used and had to do a basic air tube reseal to hold air pressure. He explained in great detail exactly what the Power Tune consisted of and that it would be great starting point of ownership of a used Cricket 25 (with a fresh reseal, parts upgrade, and Power Tune), so I sent it off to him yesterday.

After talking to Charlie (great guy), I decided to keep the wood and get his tune upgrade.
I guess I had a little “newb itis”.
Will post results when I get it back from him. :biggrinn:

Rick M,
I’ll call them in the morning.
Thanks for the tip!

Best
Steve
