Q:

Adapters needed??

Hello everyone I recently received my package from evgeny. I installed the side lever kit on the left side and I must say it is slicker than s*** works wonderfully, it looks good too. However I was disappointed to see that the adjustable shoulder piece was too large for my Vulcans rear end… I have considered building it up with an angled wooden wedge and perhaps truck bed liner for my stock to Black it out.. either way I was disappointed to see it did not fit perhaps evgeny would trade me for a stock that it fits on..

From there the third item in the package was evgenys LDC… this too did not fit.. it has a female threaded end that is apparently just barely bigger than my male fitted and on my shroud.

So one out of three upgrades installed.
Waiting on a response from evgeny.

i can make you an adapter Family man…. but i bet evengy would send you the proper moderator.

Its probably best to change the endcap on the moderator that way you don’t use excess adapters …. that would keep everything straight.

Msgs me I’d love to make this work.. Evgeny also said I can return it..
Unless you know of a far better LDC..
I have the side lever installed and I have no problem making the shoulder piece work I can modify the rear this stock and make it black perhaps bedliner..

LDC is my main concern now.

I bet John could make an adapter from the old shroud to the new AGT moderator. Might be worth checking with him.

:dito: to that guyko

Sorry to hear of your situation. The adjustable butt and AGT moderators are indeed only for the Gen 4 Vulcans. Those have a different barrel threading and stock shape than the earlier ones.

To solve the butt plate issue, the easiest would be to order a synthetic stock from Tony here at Talon Tunes. That will include the adjustable butt and forestock rail, both features that are desirable. You would also need an AFAR rail kit or modify a MagPull adapter to attach a Picatinny mounted bipod.

DonnyDu makes a great LDC for the older Vulcans and John Hagan produced the most accurate of two thread adapters I tried.
