Q:

Busting 12 oz cans-800 yds-257

Just shows that although it took a number of shots on each, visualizes what an Air Rifle can do. Even though lot of misses, there were a bunch of shots, fairly close. That can is only 2 1/4″ in diameter. Did this in September just before the 1108 yard hits. Had 2 cans with me and said to self, “SELF” lets go beyond the 700 yds shot last year.

In my 2 LITERS at HALF MILE (880 yds) video, I did set a 12 oz can and ended video with a few shots at it……Had 3 pretty close but let it pass as unsuccessful, no hits.

I found it funny as the wind was up a little at the start and lay down for 2nd can, and it took MORE shots to hit it then?

Impressive! Nice shooten :4: How much drop and retained energy is there at that range?

Thank You…….Used 165 moa (or -1381 inches) of my 300 moa scope rail. Energy of the 85 gr spitzer leaving muzzle at 1035 fps was 202 fpe. At 800 yds ballistic computer says 648 fps at 79 fpe.
