Air Arms Galahad, regged .22
A buddy of mine just got a Galahad .22 cal and is very pleased with it. He’s a marksman and hunts squirrels, so when he says he’s getting 1/4 inch groups at 40-50 yds, I believe him. I did get to hold it and check out how it shoulders, very nice. It’s a reasonably good looking bullpup. He brought it to me because the fill probe “is either too small or something; it’s constantly leaking”. I took a look at the o-rings and swapped them out, which fixed the leaks.
At some point, I’ll get to his place and see what it’s doing.
Air Arms was mostly using non-regulated air strippers on their guns. But this one came with a regulator. Gotta say, my S510 Extra FAC will drill a stink bug at 40 yds. It shot that well right out of the box, and that one does not have a reg. It’s still my “grab-it” rifle and haven’t had any issues. (Except when I left the camo tape on too long and the residue took forever to remove. 😛 )
