FPS drop
So after all the adjustments and putting in the new hammer and hammer spring I unable to crack 800 feet per second with the 34 gr kings..
I was averaging 820 before the switch.
25.4s were 910ish and now 880s..
This obviously is not a huge deal but I did bring me to wonder if anybody knows how to get in contact with Earnest Rowe or what he charges for the full meal deal..
I won’t be shooting a lot in the next few weeks and it may not hurt to just send it to Ernest

it will still not take Elefants
i dont see what a 5-10% increase in total fps will give you apart from lower shotcount and a lot more wear on parts.

I agree that’s why I said it’s not that big of deal..
I however have never messed with regulators and I know Ernest has a few tricks up his sleeve for quieting the noise inside the gun etc.
It’s going to be 2 years old this summer I wouldn’t mind checking for condensation excetera..
I had a conversation with an Earnest about it and he offered a very fair price.. I myself am a novice I have built a couple of PCPs unregulated around the Marauder/Prod.. 2240… so I’m sure through watching Ernest videos I could do it myself as well but for the price offered I can’t see much wrong with letting the man do his thing..
He did mention the 34 gr JSB I shoot do seem to love the 860 fps mark .. I was having beautiful groups at 815… again I don’t care much….mainly the other benefits it would serve.
