Hello Texan fans, I have just completed a .257 conversion on our .308 Texan.
I really like the Texan cocking lever mechanism as well as the breech slider and hammer spring engineering. Nice job Air Force… I moved the cocking lever mechanism to the left side of the rifle. This allows a right hander to keep his hand on the grip while cocking and loading, which cuts down on excessive hand movements.
Chronograph testing and tuning are next on the agenda…
Where can I get a barrel to swap with my .457 Texan?
