Sacshooter. After looking closer at your pictures I would say no mine does not look like that there is no step to the grooves I will try to post a picture of mine
Can you swap the barrel of the 308 and use it in the stock .457 Texan? I wonder if it will cause valve dumps

Could you please pull the bottle, and look at the rear of the barrel? Mine doesn’t appear to have a leede in. Here is what mine looks like

Have not been able to do anything but look at mine and cast some bullets so I can’t compare yet but it does not have the same valve as the 457. It has a top hat much like the condor but much bigger
How does it compare to the standard .457? Is it using the same valve?

Does anyone sell .308 barrels for the Texan? I wonder if it will work fine with the stock Texan?

Not out yet. I see RL Airguns got them in and going to start shipping March 2. Others should be close behind

However, the leede is not deep and can only push a 113 gr maybe half way in but my 457 is like that too. I would like to have them both machined to be better. I will have to get someone with more patience to take the pictures from my phone and put them on here or maybe if doug sees this he will post the pic of mine I sent him
