Sacshooter. After looking closer at your pictures I would say no mine does not look like that there is no step to the grooves I will try to post a picture of mine
Have not been able to do anything but look at mine and cast some bullets so I can’t compare yet but it does not have the same valve as the 457. It has a top hat much like the condor but much bigger
Can you swap the barrel of the 308 and use it in the stock .457 Texan? I wonder if it will cause valve dumps
