if there is a gaping hole i would take a one or two size larger tap and make a new threading and fit a new matching larger larger screw in it. the barrel needs removing to do that.if the screw is still there and seals fine you may just put some rubber plug in it or fill it with some black composite glue or so. there is not much need for that hole, there is NOT supposed to be a screw holding the barrel it is only a viewport to see the mark on the barrel, that is to align the transferport. maybe you can make an outer mark on the barrel for future and blank off the hole. before you blank it off, i would doublecheck if you can get your barrel off.
are you getting puff of air from it? that area is between the 2 barrel o rings, and gets pressurized when the gun is shot. i heated up my screw, melted a bit of hot glue on it, no puff of air anymore.
if you destroyed the threading obviously you have to make a new larger one and replace the screw with a larger diameter one.
if you broke the screw in you fucked up real bad, if you cant get it out just live with it.
