Q:

Kalibr Cricket .22 and polygonal LW barrel

CZ barrel and silencer – very well, but does the polygonal barrel can be better ? Which the pressure should be set in the regulator ?
Now is long version :winkn:

LW barrel ~ 122 €, adaptation: ~23 €, silencer: ~82 €

Please upload more pics , your cricket it’s amazing

Personally I’m going for a long. I say leave the Standard and Shorty’s to the .22s. if I’m stepping up the caliber I’m going to step up the size also. I don’t want any limitations cause I chose the shorter one with smaller airtube and barrel.

Wow Rk68!

That looks like some serious tuning :8: (Mechanical engineer?)

May I ask you what led you to replace the original regulator and hammer springs?

The springs create the “incorporeal soul” of the mechanism and are very much underestimated.

Would need some high quality springs myself but unfortunately I don’t speak Polish.

Is there a minimum quantity to be ordered?

Finally as shooter3 already asked, what’s your feedback about accuracy?

Thanks.

How about the accuracy? Are the groups tighter?

The polygonal barrel probably like high speeds. JSB Heavy at pressure reg. 125 Bar : ( ~ 35 fpe ), 135 Bar ( ~ 38 fpe ).The optimal pressure ~ 130 Bar for 36-37 fpe ( JSB Heavy, shortened barrel: 55 cm ( 21.6 inches ) .For standard lenght 60 cm (23.6), fpe will be ~ 2 fpe more.

The spring ( size: 1.3 x 6.5 x 57 mm) for hammer and regulator( size: 12.5×6.2×0.7) from Hennlich : https://www.hennlich.com/
Silencer, matched barrels from AirgunTuning: http://www.airguntuning.strefa.pl
Poligonal balnk LW barrel from Klima : http://www.kimla.de

At 37 fpe ( reg. ~ 130 Bar, the reservoir capacity: 0.28 L, JSB Heavy, barrel 55 cm) the air consumption: 0.66 L / shot.
Calculated shoots ( 120-250 ) Bar:

(250-120)*0.28/0.66= ~76 shoots.

Magazines q-ty per fill = 76 / 14 = 5.4 or 5 at 250-130 Bar.

JSB Heavy BC=0.036 at 6.5m ( LW polygonal barrel )

Please keep us posted about the performance of the LW polygonal barrel.

What kind of pellets are you planning to use?

Well, I’d start with the same settings as CZ barrel, this gives you a common base for comparison.

Don’t know if it will work, but is sure looks nice!
