Leshiy First impressions – Quality issues
Hi all,
After a lot of waiting just got my gen2 Leshiy … Got it from DASE
Havent had time to play a lot but some of the first impressions are worrying …
First of all the 350mm extension tube inner thread (where it connects to the gun) is poorely threaded …
Trying to screw it on the gun is very very tight and it almost stuck just before the end … took me 10 minutes to get it off…
I contacted DASE and they said that all the extensions tubes they send were like that! Anyway I ll take it to my lathe guy and see if he can fix it or make me a new one..
My 0.22 250mm barrel is very difficult to get into the slot, especially at the beginning… it needs hammering and then a lot of push… nothing like the videos I have seen… the 350mm 0.177 barrels sits a lot easier …
Maybe overordering got them to skip quality controls over the factory ?1?
Very excited to get the gun, huma reg fitted very easily, atlas bipod fits like a glove, front grip I ordered from China is very comfortable and the Hawke 2-7×32 Vantage IR I got on an offer blends nicely… Still waiting on the laminate pepper grip
Not had time to do any shooting or tuning ..
I ll post pics in the weekend..

Sometimes people just do not want to see.
So why didn’t they return the whole batch back? I do not understand.
As of the lathe guy and element creation – you can create the whole Leshiy on your own with that type of thinking.
That was my question exactly… first of all the factory should have checked them and the retailer should not have accepted them?
I hope I get it sorted soon…
My grip is from the same guy mentioned above… I expect it to be shipped any day now

Cricket, where did you buy that laminate grip?
I got my Laminate grip yesterday and was very pleased. Great fit and finish. And that Huma reg can get very low ES with the right tune as well. What kind of grip did you get?

Everything sorted now… My lathe guy was very busy and fixed everything… skimmed the barrels by 1-2 mm so that they fit and clamp nicely… increased the pitch of the female thread on the extension…
Now for some tuning and shooting
