Q:

Leshiy Trigger not satisfactory…

I’ve owned my .22 cal. Leshiy for a few months now. Long enough to decide that I will not get used to the factory trigger and long enough to install the well known spring loaded ball grub screw mod however it didn’t work. I can’t get a solid stop before the sear trips. I can adjust all of the way until the sear won’t engage but I cannot find “the spot” where there’s a definite second stage type of feel.
I can’t be the only one. What else can be done to correct this abomination of a trigger? Everything else about this little gun is great but with this trigger system it’s kinda like owning a Maserati with water balloon for an accelerator pedal.

Did you use a spring plunger or a ball plunger (i.e., how much travel do you have once you hit it?)

I found that with a spring plunger (which has more travel than a ball plunger), I could move it back very slightly from the point where the trigger releases and it would allow enough travel for the trigger to reset. The trigger does need to go slightly farther than the release point in order to reset (at least mine does), but it is a very small amount of travel. (Mine is also a MK2)

Ok I’ve got a MK2 Leshiy and this mod doesn’t work.
When I set the sprung part of the movement to fire the action I cannot re cock the action.
It’s like the trigger needs to move past the firing point to allow it to be cocked again!

Did you find a UK supplier?

Just the job any known uk suppliers selling these my searches have drawn a blank so far !

Where are you from tsakula? I’ll bet that this type of trigger feel is what you were raised on. There’s nothing wrong with the trigger at all really. It is consistently unpredictable which in theory at least should be beneficial. Unfortunately for me it’s so foreign in it’s characteristics that I simply cannot get used to it. I require a perceivable stop which will yield cleanly / crisply at a predetermined poundage. The Leshiy trigger has no such stop but rather it just rolls into the shot as pressure is applied. Not my kind of trigger. That’s all. I can see how some would favor it.

Ah ha!!!! I knew I’d come to the right place. Thank you acourvil !!!

Try a spring plunger instead of a ball plunger (like this one https://www.amazon.com/M4-0-7-16mm-End-force/dp/B002CIH2HC/ref=redir_mobile_desktop?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&ref_=ox_sc_act_image_1&smid=A2YS58QFHT37VD). It will give you some extra travel that helps you get to “the spot” for the 2nd stage feel.
