pigeons ONE SHOT ONE KILL
i been reading around here and at pyramid air and i have heared of some people that have had trouble killing pigeons with one shot. personaly i never had to take a seacond shot at a pigeon to kill it. i have always killed it with one shot and they always fall on the spot like a sack of potatoas. has anyone one had trouble out there killing a pigeons.

sa2; Use Kodiaks. I killed hundreds and hundreds of pigeons in Iraq with the things. Most just dropped dead. Some flopped around for a bit…but they ALL died. Shot placement is everything. AKULA
Well that was one tough pigeon. Cant think of many birds that could take a neck shot and live.
I have a funny story ’bout neck shots. Just last weekend i saw a pigeon on a telephone wire 30 yards away. Popped him in the neck, hear a THWAK!, and the thing is still sitting there like nothing had happened! 😯 I now aim for between the eyes. 😈
I shoot them in the neck. If you shoot through the wing it can decrease penetration
I have. I made the big mistake of loading a crosman premier hollow point instead of a JSB Diablo Exact. 😳
