Anyone have experience with a Pcp shotgun?

I’ve been working a small farm that has loads of starlings and Maggie running the show. . I’ve been able to thin the heard with my mutant but thought it might be fun to shoot the fly overs with a load of shot. However this farm is flanked by other farms with livestock or residences. Even though i have every right to break out the powder burner in my particular location, i don’t want to piss people off by blasting away.
Does anyone have experience with one of the pcp shotguns out there. They have obvious limitations but when pesting I’m less worried about performance..
How loud are these guns? What is reload of shells like? What’s maximum effective range?
I’ve seen some reviews on the tube but they were by those paid off type reviewers, so I’m hesitant to trust their opinions.
