No need to go that fast imho but if you can a find a Gen 2 or modded Gen 1 Edgun .30 with a 3mm valve you could get one to come close. Accuracy may suffer over 900fps with standard pellets.

SeCoda,

Glad your Ed .30 is still holding up! Amazing after all we went thru on the 1st gen too. I’m shooting around the same V as yours with 44gr and around 850 with 50gr. They tear shit up!

Cheers!

My gen I Edgun (the shorter one) 30 is still going strong at over 3000 shots on the first valve stem amazingly. I only have it set to 875 fps with the 44’s. I save it strictly for our raccoon problem and it handily dispatches them at about 75 FPE (it blows sparrows up). I have plenty of spare valve stems and hope I don’t need one for a while longer. There isn’t much hammer slap at that speed (Ed had it cranked pretty high when I first got it and I lowered it right away). I may even lower it to 850 fps if it ever breaks a stem to lengthen the stem life. It is very accurate at 875 fps. About 1/2″ at 50 yards if you watch your pellets. It’s very quiet at that speed and about 32″ long. So far only my Crickets have broken valve stems but a simple change.

The main problem I have with a backyard 30 cal is the damage it does to bird feeders. It will go right through a raccoon hanging sometimes and damage an all metal feeder. lol

Jager looks really nice, thanks

Very few and possibly none at that speed.
