Q:

Who’s using camera tripods for shooting?

What ball head are you using?
I have a nice heavy Duty Manfrotto video tripod, but wanting to know which head everyone is using?

Thanks, Rick

I am using an old aluminum camera tripod I got from ebay for $20 and a hog saddle that I built from a piece of aluminum channel. I use it when hunting from a blind and it is definitely a great tool to steady your shots. Easy to carry and stable.

I just use a camera tripod with a sock full of rice on top like a sand bag.

doesn’t the sock slip off the tripod?

Cool yoke u can attach straight onto a camera Tripod has the same threading as.

Have this Gehmann spotting scope monopod that I use nowadays to take picture still with, it has a convenient clap that attaches to just about anything you can fit into its jaws.

I just use an old camera tri pod, great for shooting P-dogs. I take my foldable seat and set up at the edge of a dog town and have at it.

hum yah I have the Primos tripod it’s fast to adjust which I like as well and mounted that head on it when I need to take some still pictures of somethings.

Thanks again Greg! You seem to be the only one willing to take the time to answer my questions!

I have the Primos monopod for Field target and really like it. I have a shooting stand like this but it only works on level(ideally) indoor ranges.

I seemed to have gone the otherway.

With this head.
