Q:

Leshiy POI shift?

I’ve been pretty happy with mu Leshiy, but I have noticed one odd thing: every now and then (I haven’t been able to figure out why or exactly when), the POI will shift vertically by 2 mils. I have seen this with two different scopes, so I don’t think it’s the scope. I also don’t think it is due to falling off the regulator, because (a) sometimes it happens when the pressure is still above the regulator pressure, and (2) it doesn’t change right after refilling the tank. And the switch back and forth is almost exactly the same, 2 mils up or 2 mils down, not any transition between the two. It almost seems like something mechanical is slipping back and forth. Some times I’ve gone multiple fills without it shifting; sometimes it shifts during a long set of shots. This is from the 2nd batch of Leshiy’s and has been upgraded with the Huma reg. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

What points do I check for barrel tightness? I remember the clamp up front; is that the only place the barrel is fixed? I haven’t played with that part of the gun at all.

Yes, that is the only place you can tighten it up.

With my Lelya Gen 1 I ALWAYS had shifting POI.

The shifting was happing during the first shots and then the POI was settling.

Nothing did help to solve this problem, at a certain point I was thinking it was depending on the working temperature of the valve/regulator or whatever because it was always happening at the beginning of the shooting session.

If the barrel is nice and tight and you checked two different scopes then the remaining question is about your scope mount. If it is OK then I would vote on the barrel, I mean its internal state with certain lead accumulation.
