Speaking for myself , the only reason one needs to shoot a gun at full auto is to make a massive kill for self defense .
Which I have done in a War Zone under enemy engagement . I see no real pleasure or fun in shooting a paper target or
critters on full auto . I’m not putting others down who like to shoot at full auto it just isn’t my type of shooting that I prefer .

in the war on rats it could be usefull i think i would then prefer a smoothbore and small shot instead of pellets though
