909 s refill ?
I have the 909S with foster fitting and is 244 cu in gun tube. If i fill gun to 2,700 psi and fire one shot ,what would be the remaining psi in gun tube,using rd. ball.
The reason i,m asking is so i can use airhog calculator to fig refills from scuba 80 cu. ft scuba tank. For my testing purposes ,i want to fill after each shot to 2,700 psi. Thanks

I just filled tank to 2,700 psi and first gun with no ball in chamber ,from inside my den room. Two things ,first it was loud as hell and second ,it used 700 psi for that one shot. 😀
Does that sound about right?
Thanks for reply,but was hoping that maybe someone has fired one shot and measured tank pressure ,to see if it takes 500 psi or 700 psi .etc. per shot

You’ll need to answer that question my measuring the gun’s tank pressure after one shot. Too many variables to calculate.

I don’t know anything about valves really but I’m sure you will only loose around 200-250psi per shot when it is loaded. I’m sure the valve needs the resistance of the slug to operate properly.
My modded double tube 909 takes four shots to get down to 2500psi from 3100psi using 230 grainers sized around .455 going about 680-690fps with the fifth shot going about 20fps slower.
