Q:

Whose got a light mounted?

If you have a light mounted on your gun can you tell me about it? Im especially interested in QD setups. I’ll be getting a Condor SS soon and Ive got a marauder now. A light I could switch between the two would be ideal.

I was dealing with a skunk issue a few weeks back and trying to hold a light and an airgun at the same time was difficult!

I would appreciate photos as well as I weigh options.

To clarify a bit further, I’m relatively new to pcp airguns and am curious to see/ hear how others address their night hunting needs.

These are nice, but a bit heavy and clunky. You almost have to use something like this with a laser.

The beam on a flashlight is much wider, and most of the time the beam is not perfectly straight. So, you can get a little bit up/down/left/right by just rotating the light it in the holder. Something like this is usually ok.

Great thoughts guys! Thanks. Zonk, your setup sounds awesome! I’m afraid at my place it would not be practical.

I try not to shoot them in my yard, but if I get a shot I’ll usually take it.

I found a deal on a TLR 1 game spotter so I snagged it. I’ll report back with my thoughts when it arrives.

I use a ND3 laser designator on my Vulcan. It’s like night vision with an adjustable mount..Absolutely satisfied.

But Coda not nearly as much fun!! :5:

Don’t shoot the skunk in your yard. LOL You may be sorry.

I have a buddy with an old deep freeze filled with water where he has created a trap to drown the plethora of skunks he has. It is much safer. :biggrinn:

Here’s my setup. I keep my bait pile 300 yards out back for coyotes. At the bait pile I have a camera, a solar powered flood light and a wireless doorbell. When I hear, Ding Dong you got company, I go to my breakfast room and open my window. I’ve shot many of critters using just the light from my solar powered flood light. It doesn’t matter if your bait pile is 30 yards or 300. I have found the light doesn’t scare any animal, they’ll walk right up to it and look into it, and I have a good picture also. You can get a good solar flood light on E-bay CHEAP!
Try it you’ll like it. And you don’t have to worry if it’ll fit another gun.
