Q:

reading about a new gun, 25 yards WTF

I under stand when someone has limited yard space, And they shoot at 25 yards ,
I am not calling names , I am not calling guns,
I had , Thanks photo bucket, some targets set up at 25 yards with a Bug buster 3×9 scope and a Crossman 760 smooth bore set up with25 yard dime size groups.
30 dollar gun , 100 dollar scope , This is before my book keeping I am pretty sure the Crossman 760 is a smooth bore , OK OK I just looked down the barrel and it looks smooth,
Hold that thought, If I rifled the end of the 760 would it be like a FX barrel?
Shit I may be on to something BIG here , How do you rifle the end of a barrel??????
Holy shit I may be on to something BIG, The 760 putting FX out of business ,
What tools do I need to rifle the end of a smooth bore barrel,
Ted is going to shit if I pull this off,
Mike

Yep, You do not have to out run a bear, Just be faster than everyone else in the group.

Florida Woman Stops Alligator Attack Using a Small Airgun….

Another good reason to own and practice with your Crosman 760!!!

*This is a story of self-control and marksmanship by a brave, cool-headed woman with a small AIRGUN against a fierce predator.*

*Here’s her story in her own words:*

“While out walking along the edge of a pond just outside my house in ‘The Villages’ with my soon to be ex-husband, discussing property settlement and other divorce issues, we were surprised by a huge 12-ft. alligator which suddenly emerged from the murky water and began charging us with its large jaws wide open. She must have been protecting her nest because she was extremely aggressive.”

“If I had not had my little Crosman 760 with me, I would not be here today!”

“Just one shot to my estranged husband’s knee cap was all it took. The gator got him easily, and I was able to escape by just walking away at a brisk pace. The amount I saved in lawyer’s fees was really incredible, and his life insurance was a real big bonus!”

Kindly ‘Ol Uncle Hoot:

25y testing is simply perfect. It is unlikely to reveal any serious problems with the gun but still presents the grouping. What’s wrong with you? It works both for the seller and the buyer.

It certainly weighs less than FX and is more reliable. A much higher fun/dollar ratio. :8:

Mike, Mike, wake up your having another bad dream. Take a small triangle file, insert it into the muzzle of your 720 and start cutting your lands.
Maybe you shot it so much as a kid you shot all the rifling out of it?
