EdGun Lelya.20cal HUMA install+results!!!
I purchased my EdGun Lelya.20cal from another member a few months ago and i also purchased a Huma reg from EdGunWest.com at the same time. Upon receiving the Leyla and doing some initial testing I realized that although the gun was shooting with incredible accuracy, it was not regulating properly. I found the gun was shooting as if it was unregulated, meaning that the FPS would start out low, Approx.800fps from a fresh 220bar fill and would work it’s way up to 865fps!!! After disassembling the gun and inspecting the o-rings I found that one of the o-rings on the regulator piston was slightly deformed and most likely the cause of the failed regulator. Well this was an opportunity to test out the HUMA reg.

. The factory EdGun reg came set at the normal EdGun reg pressure of 130bar, I was achieving approx. 17 shots. The Huma reg came set to 95bar and after testing the Huma at 95,100,110 and 115bar, I found the 115Bar setting for this gun which is a .20cal was the optimal setting to achieve a decent shot count and maintain a usable energy level for small game. I now shoot an avg.805fps for about 24 shots, this in my opinion is a success. This gun will easily put pellet on top of pellet at 50yds and I’m quite amazed at what she’ll do at 100yds too!!! AAnyway I love this little gun and I’m glad I bought it. As a side note: I in No Way fault the previous owner for the o-ring issue, you could tell by the immaculate shape the gun was in when I received it that it hadn’t been shot much and as we all know o-rings don’t last forever and I would totally purchase from this member again as he was extremely easy to deal with and I am now the proud owner of an EdGun classic. Thanks again Dan!!! Anyway I recommend this upgrade to my other EdGun Lelya/Veles owners. Special thanks to Brian from EdGunWest.Com and to Phil from AirborneArms/NZ, without all your contributions to the EdGun brand and your thorough testing of the HUMA reg I might not have had the confidence to do this install which was incredibly easy BTW. Let the questions begin. Next step is a custom shroud and LDC from DonnyFL!!! Whatcha think Donny? Think my Lelya is a good candidate?

After reading your results I went back to testing and have found that my HS is unnecessarily tensioned. Testing continues…. thanks Greg for your results, I now know I can get the Lelya to be more efficient. Standby for results.
