Condor not cocking…

Please help!

My condor has never had trigger work (except the auto safety lever removed) and suddenly after being in storage in the gun safe for a few months, the hammer won’t cock sometimes when the Breech is slid forward rather gently. If I slam it forward, it does most of the time but still won’t cock 100%. I’m a little scared to even shoot it with the trigger acting up…. assistance please?!?
