Q:

ARGH! me maties, Arg!

So, when attempting to reassemble my .25 Cricket, after repairing the air leak, I discover that the gun was shipped with the wrong barrel alignment screw (the forward screw on the picatinny rail); it’s too short to engage the detent in the barrel, by several mm. Makes it kinda hard to keep everything aligned properly.

Anyone know the correct size screw and where to get one? Wild West, where I bought the gun, isn’t around anymore.

I was wondering why the barrel was moving when I slid out the air tube. :angrymob:

I believe they’re the same for the 25, but not all that sure …… being that I don’t own a 25 cal Cricket.
Compared them in size and length with yours to make sure.
Got them from AoA a while back .. they said that they’re factory replacements ?

Cool to have Click-n-Ship ……… lOl
Makes give much easier !

No problem, I’ll have them in the mail n the late morning for yah.

That would be great, Greg! I owe you one…well two…well three!

Those new valves, will they fit .25? Who makes them? They look really durable.

Thanks, once again, Sir. :winkn:

Not really needed to have an alignment screw to set the barrel.
Use a flashlight to sight down the hole to find the barrel indent and tighten the frame hex bolts.

Also not hard to make one.
Usually you can find one at your local hardware store (need to find one with long threadings), it a 4mm x .7 pitch treading.
To make the point mount the bolt in a drill and spin it on a grinder going in the opposing direction at 45 degrees.

Pick up a nut for it to, makes a handy reg piston puller ….. it’s the same threading/size.

But, if you like I’ll send you an alignment screw with one new Valve Stem … just in case, at no charge of course.
