This Sumo Kwaiken is one tough knife. It is made from .201″ 8670 Carbon steel. It is like 5160 but tougher and better edge retention.

– Handle is tight bound cotton cord under wrap and green samurai ito. Impregnated with high impact, marine grade, food safe resin. This leaves the handle looking like cloth but is hard like micarta. It will never move or come off and you literally have to grind it off.
– Kydex sheath with Tek Lok style belt attachment
