Been using Bounce Fabric Softener sheets to keep mosquitoes away Mike …. works like a charm !

I am also in the desert also and with all the rains the mosquitos are very thick, The big black ones , You got to use hammers to kill them
Yea, leaves sore spots but better than sucking you dry. Thang is when it drys out between rains the mosquitos have learned to use small back packs full of water and carry tiny buckets full of water, Smart little suckers .

I had a problem initially with the gripper arms, but that was my failure to have muscle memory for proper insertion. After many 1000s of rounds and mag changes, I think the gripper arms may accelerate wear of the mag o-rings, but with tons of back ups that is not a problem. To give a sense of the use my Vets are getting, the .22 is losing bluing around the rear of the action. And I have to remember to wipe down and rub to remove face oils/acids from the top of the action. My mags are showing signs of wear around the edges from frequent removals. I believe I’m up to about 700 squirrels this year so far, going out every day and averaging 5, but often 10-15 at times.
I’m trying to think of a very neat design to provide some sort of fabric cover for where the barrel inserts into the action, something that would provide a better cheek weld.

Just want to add that Bizill’s mag holders are just terrific, have two sets of mag holders for my .22 and .25 Vets. Such a cool add on, and easy to refill the empty mags when they are in a mag holder.

Man, I haven’t even played any games in a few months. As a matter of fact I have a 2 inches Magpul rail on my way, it’ll be here for on Thursday, enough time to instal it, im gonna try to get out this weekend, hopefully I’ll find some squirrels, ist gonna be HOT! But i have to try this puppy out!

I think Greg gave advice on this in a past thread but I don’t remember. Did you rub yourself down with the dryer sheet, or do you scotch tape it around your ankles? And should we use sheets with added fabric softener? :5: :rofl: :8:
