There will be a day I’ll hack into the stock and knowing there is no screw(s) eases my will when removing some wood back there.
Maybe a raintree camouflage dip/wrap is in store for mines too ?
If only that Mike would lend me his chain saw I could get started on this ?

The gorilla tape.
awh …. there’s the but pad, how did you removed it … any screws ?

It was kinda glued on, the bottom inch was coming loose I went ahead and pulled it off. No screws. Just happen to have some double sided gorilla tape. Clean off all old glue. Layer a couple strips of tape next to each other.
