Q:

How can the Taipan Veteran be converted to Rifle format?

Just wondering out loud here, since it seems there is no indication that there will be a Taipan Rifle ever.

I can not shoot bullpup, with the hardware pressed upon my cheeks like that. I am old school, learned to shoot the rifle the old ways.

Is Evgeny listening here? Or was that him?

:fishinghole: ..yeah..fishing for information

steeldreams007 what caliber and how far would you be shooting for benchrest shooting? My Lelya 2.0 .177 shoot on par with my mutant .177.

shooting using JSB 22. But I think the 25 might be better for the 100-150 yards. Except, the cost of JSB 25 is rather prohibitive to me at this point in time.

Thanks for the correction. I guess I was thinking about the Vulcan Tactic which is the rifle version of the its bullpup.

I find it somehow uncomfortable messing with an expensive Veteran(expensive to me at least), to convert it to a rifle configuration. But I really like its long range accuracy and consistency.

I think it would make a perfect tool for benchrest.

Do you know how to send an email to Taipan maker?

dman114 would be the one to contact if I was looking to get hold of the maker. I don’t know squat about benchrest shooting. But I’d think a taipan Mutant Standard would be a good start for your benchrest rifle. Think there’s one for sale over at agn.

Evgeny don’t make the Taipan Veteran. He owns AGT and makes the Vulcan. Shouldn’t be that hard to convert.
