Q:

Trigger Set Screw?

Hi All,

Hoping someone can help me out. I was shooting my Cricket Compact 177, when a small set screw fell out of the trigger hole in the stock. I took off the stock and looked over the rifle for any holes missing a screw. The only hole I see is a small hole behind the trigger, which the set screw fits. Not sure if this is correct or why there is a set screw behind the trigger? It doesn’t seem to do anything? Let me know your thoughts.

Thank you Greg! Let us know if you make that mod for the trigger.

Bud

Yes that’s the hex screw is for the forward trigger stop limiter.
You need it only if you set the tigger location extremely forwards and your trigger blade stops forwards on it.
If not, you can leave it out ……..

Along with a longer hex I placed a very thin brass tube on mines to takeup the first stage travel pull lenght.
But I wished KG would have placed this screw at an angle with the trigger rods direction to make it a first stage trigger travel adjustment.

A mod I might consider doing soon ……….. oneday, maybe ?
