Question about threaded barrel.
I have just bought, 2nd-hand, the Gunpower (Talon to you American chaps) Storm (18″ barrel). It has a very long silencer, which slips over the muzzle and is held on by a grub-screw. The thing is that the end of the barrel is threaded and the grub-screw has mashed into the thread. Additionally the pitch is very fine and does not accept any of the standard threaded silencers, which are coarser pitched. So my question…did somebody custom-thread my barrel or do Gunpower/Talon do that thread as normal? Which would be odd, considering the supplied silencer is a slip-on, and the grub-screw damages the thread.
Any info would be apprecioated, TIA. 🙂
