Tim has that set up also. And yes. You just use your fill clamp from your AF gun and clamp it on.
IF i just bought the tank from tim, and the thing from the link above, would i be set to fill my tank?
If you already have the AF scuba adapter, all you need is one of these to complete the setup. This is how I have mine done.
The guage visible in the photo measures the psi amount going into your gun tank. The tank itself (not visible in pic) has a pressure guage built in to the valve stem that measures the approx amount of psi in the CF tank.
Adam is also correct. If your serious, make the phone call now, they will be gone very quickly if you wait to decide.

Thanks, triggerman. I only really fill my tank about 500 PSI each time anyways. Is the gauge you have measuring the pressure in the carbon fiber tank or the pressure in the tank that goes on your gun?
First, let me re-phrase a statement I made. I was not talking about a full gun tank fill from empty. I usually refill when the tank is down to about 18-1900psi, and fill to 2900psi.
I got my guage and assembly from Joe Brancato on the yellow classifieds forum, but if I am not mistaken, Tim at Mac1 who sells these tanks has them too.
I have two places here in town that will fill to 4500psi for me, a dive shop and a paintball shop. I prefer the dive shop because I know the air is clean and without moisture.
The 44 cu ft carbon fiber tank is atleast half the weight of the 66 cu ft fiberglass tank too, much easier to tote around.
Wow that’s more than I was expecting! So what kind of stuff would I need to make the connection to my tank? And where do you get these filled?
One of my tanks came from Tim, the same 44 cu ft he is selling. I will get somewhere in the neighborhood of 18-19 full fills off that tank before taking it in to refill, and even at that, it has not quite eqalized in pressure yet.
The darker gray tank will be the exact tank he is selling.
I took the hose off and mounted the AF adapter straight to the valves for safety reasons.
Yeah I saw that. How many fills could you get on a SS tank off that? It seems like a small tank. Also, what would I need to be able to hook up the CF tank to my tank?

If I went down to his store, do you think he would sell a 16 year old the tank and adapter? Or is there some law that says you have to be 18?
