Ideally I would want the tank to be 4500psi and probably set the reg for 2500psi

Well, thats been done here already as to. It was brought up recently in fact. There are craftsmen all over the globe but there isnt much out there that hasnt already been done by someone else. Its always cool to see new pics though.
that valve extention is new and very useful having a gage an quick fill
Actually, there have been several versions of valves just like that built by our members. I think most the pictures were lost with the old site though.

and some more, on the second page. you’ll see a valve tester (saves you filling up a whole 500 cc bottle, and astainless steel valve with a titanium stem/tophat.
