Q:

Regulated Benjy tank fits onto my new Talon !

I ordered a regulated Benjy tank for my new Talon and it just arrived. It screws right into the co2 adapter !

Does it work ?? Don’t know that yet as I will have to go to the City tomorrow for air.

More Later 😀

Oops forgot to add the pic ….

The only challenge would be figuring out how to mount that rail that the stock slides up and down on… Not sure how that would work. ❓

Have used this stock in the past (not on a talon):
http://rap4.com/paintball/os/disposable-adapter-complete-package-p-1536.html

(they look better if you peel the label off the AirSourse tank and paint it black or dark gray)

Really isn’t the most stable stock in the world…found I could shoot better with a 9oz. tank and butt plate.

The difference in the RAP4 88gr. adaptor is that it is a true paintball tank adaptor…has a pin valve. Once installed, can treat that 88gr. like a little paintball tank, refilling it as you would any other (except it has no burst disk safety, so be VERY careful to NEVER GO OVER 3oz.). The adaptors by themselves are $15…but they’ve been working well of me. Even though i don’t have that stock, the adaptors and 88gr. tanks still get used on a couple of QB’s and a converted RWS 850.

(Converted it to run on 9oz. tanks…then decided i liked a fore end, so opened it up to let me use the 88gr. with the paintball pin valve RAP4 adaptor. )

I’ve got a co2 fill station now so one of the small tanks will work out great as I won’t have to take it to town to fill it. I’ll look those over and figure out which one to buy and will post it up when I get it 😀

Yeah, so just get a 3 or 5 ounce tank and get one of those stocks pulsakius. Let us know the results.

Hey hey that is great looking stuff right there !

Hey pulsakius, I just found a bunch of awesome things I bet could be adapted in some way to go over the CO2 tank. Follow the link:

Check ’em out, buy one, and let us know how it works! It would be an awesome stock.

Those are nice stocks for the small airsource bottles.

Sounds good thanks 🙂

All right man, I’m sure I’ve seen somewhere a stock that does this. I’ll let you know if I find it again.

I looked at the Paintball shop today and they didn’t have a butt stock that could slip over an Air Source cartridge. They suggested checking the Rap4 line … they had mostly Tipmanns I think they were called. I’m not a paintballer.

I’ll keep digging for a stock … if you find anything let me know 😀

Ah I see what you mean … will have to check the paintball suppliers and see what we can find … that is a great idea !

Hmmm… I wonder if there is some sort of adjustable stock out there, with a hole it in for small CO2 tanks like that, that would screw into a CO2 air tank adapter? If so that would be supremely amazing.

Pat

And with a paintball adapter this is one compact co2 set up with Air Source … bout 80 shots.
