Q:

Battle of Pellets

This is TX200HC in .177 Not the best group I’ve shot at 25 yards but these two pellets are kicking each other’s butts. Both are accurate, can’t complain. Anyone else has this dilemma? Can’t pick both because the POI starts to change past 20 yards.
8.2gr Predator and 10.6 gr Kodiak.

move to 50 yds and shoot comparison again………..true colors for most accurate are easier to see as range gets longer. If about equal at 50, shoot 75.

If both shoot basically equal at the ranges you intend to shoot then pick the one that performs better on your intended target (game). Predator might be better for smaller critters and Kodiac better for heavier/thicker skinned/boned stuff. If both perform equal in the effectiveness department, then I’d shoots the Kodiacs………..Predators are rather expensive.

Yes, I have my SS set up for Kodiaks and Predators do shoot higher being their 5g lighter in .22
