N/B withTalon SS
Hi All
Been reading every thing I can on the Talon SS.
Just traded Dave for one.
Want should I start the top hat at
for a stock valve 177cal 18in barrel.
Don’t have a chrony yet on its way.
Have it set at .050 now shooting 10.6 Kodiaks

According to an experiment I did a few years back… set the hat at 0.128in. This was with my .22 TalonSS, but I am sure the setting will be close to optimal for your .177. Here is my experimental results… http://www.phqclan.org/NavaroliDOETalonSS.pdf
I wrote the paper for a doctoral course I was taking at the time. I think I made my professor a little “uneasy”. But it was a fun experiment.
